Organism Danger Classification System
Level Zero (0)
Level Zero organisms pose little to no threat potential to an unprotected person engaging in safe handling or observation practices. Many organisms (benign bacteria, non-toxic plants and fungi, most non-predatory animals such as the Cradle mouse) belong to this classification. It is unlikely that any organisms of this type will be found on Kerebos so personnel are encouraged to protect themselves adequately at all times following preapproved safety routines.
Level One (I)
Level One organisms pose little to no threat potential to an adequately protected person. Adequate protection is case-by-case and may include a respirator or hazmat suit, a hardsuit, a chemical supplement, body armor, small personal self-defense weaponry, etc. Common equivalents include juvenile krayt, the Cradle wolf, and most common cold virii. Level One organisms encountered:
- Individual Rebis colony spider
Level Two (II)
Level Two organisms pose little to no threat potential to an adequately protected mechanized chassis. Examples include adult krayt, armed humans, and the Cradle hippopotamus. Level Two organisms encountered:
- Rebis colony or 'armature'
Level Three (III)
Ongoing.
