Sexy Biker Koko! is an animated holonet series created by Delta Kigo and Tania Palumbo and produced by the MoonScoop Group that premiered on Space Channel 5. The series centers on a young woman, the eponymous Koko, who travels across the world on a motorbike to battle against an international crime syndicate known as ANTI-KOKO, meeting and befriending various people along the way. Though most of the show was done in traditional 2D animation, CGI was used for its driving scenes.

The series began its first, 97-episode run on 15, 32, 4093u, on Space Channel 5, and ended on 7, 23, 4097u.

Sexy Biker Koko! aired every day on Space Channel 5 at 500 or 530 Standard Time, sometimes even showing two new back-to-back episodes consecutively, in the cases of season finales. It was in a programming block with Galalaga and Light Brightning.

A follow-up series, Sexy Biker Koko: Redemption, began airing at the end of 5002u. This "sequel" to the series featured live-action sequences instead of its traditional 2D animation but retained the iconic CGI, now with an updated style. The show consisted of 26 episodes with the final episode airing in early 5004u, leaving off on a cliffhanger with no second season planned as MoonScoop later filed for bankruptcy in 5006u.

Plot

Sexy Biker Koko! follows a villain of the week style structure, with each episode being an unconnected, self-contained plot, and the status of the fight between Koko and ANTI-KOKO remaining largely unchanged thorough the series.

The show follows the adventures of a young woman named Koko, who loves to drive motorbikes. She is also shown to be proficient with all manner of weapons, hand to hand combat, and driving really cool. She is unruly, unrepentant, and generally at odds with the niceties of society. Her outgoing personality and rebellious nature are a natural draw to the various characters she meets as she drives across the globe.

The reason she is being hunted by an international crime syndicate is never revealed. Each episode, a different lieutenant appears to do road-battle with Koko, with Koko eventually triumphing in the end.

Reception

Very good. Famed holonet critic Droger Gebert said of the show, "pure, low-brow drivel, made exclusively to feed the hungry eyes of sex-starved bottom-feeders... every opportunity is taken to flash the protagonists body at the camera, the plots are non-sensical, the dialogue is psychadelic in its unreality, characters come and go like so much dust in the wind." If that doesn't prove it's worth watching, I don't know what will.
